Improving Performance
APS services are designed to maximise your project’s success through a logical process of analysis and testing, leading to rapidly deployed rental equipment. This offers immediate solutions. Installation of permanent capital equipment follows proven performance.
Offshore Analysis
Offshore Analysis to Assess Current State of water treatment performance using state of the analytical equipment.
This helps to ensure that objective root causes are established and any low cost, quick-hit improvements can be made before deploying further equipment.
Offshore Testing
Offshore testing of APS technologies is carried out for measurement of oil and solids removal performance in the offshore laboratory using state of the art test equipment.
This ensures that there is strong potential for our full-scale pilot equipment to meet clients’ water treatment goals before any large scale pilot/rental equipment is deployed.
Water Treatment
Deployment of mobile modular, light weight, retrofittable water treatment equipment for pilot studies, rental and sale.
APS gas flotation equipment normally achieves 90% oil removal and less than 20ppm oil in water discharged.
90% of fine solids can be removed down to less than 5 micron mean particle size.
Offshore Equipment
Adaptive Microbubble Infusion Unit (MiFU)
The MiFU unit infuses produced water with gas micro-bubbles using patented machinery and processes and can be configured optimally for individual produced water problems.
The MiFU can remove 90% of oil droplets, fine solids and oil wet solids.
Each unit treating between 1,000 to more than 100,000 barrels of water per day, has a small footprint and light enough to airfreight.
APS can offers both rental and capital sale options, providing clients with OPEX and CAPEX solutions.
All MiFU units are fully automated, easy to retrofit to existing systems, rated for Zone 1 hazardous area use and certified to DNV 2.7.1 for lifting
No filtration is involved and no additional waste stream is generated.
Hoses, manifolds and x-overs can be supplied.
Analytical Equipment
Droplet / Particle Size Analyser for measurement of oil concentration and oil droplet size distribution, solid particle concentration and particle size distribution.
The VIPA is Zone 1 rated for hazardous areas and enables real-time live sampling and data collection from the clients produced water treatment plant.
Gravimetric solids analysis equipment can be used to collect contaminants from the produced water plant for gravimetric measurement of particle size and concentration and species analysis.
Laboratory Test Equipment
Advanced flotation tests with a range of gases, gas concentrations and de-oilers.
Dynamic flotation tests under the same dynamic flow conditions of the client produced water system.
